3 Scientific Secrets for Success in Content Marketing

Social media professionals assure content marketing distribution with Group Advocacy...

COMBINE 3 SCIENTIFIC SECRETS FOR SUCCESS IN CONTENT MARKETING

Marketing and public relations agencies and consultancies have moved well beyond traditional PR and advertising to assist clients with all things marketing.  Specialty groups focus on digital and social media marketing.  Large and small consultancies are advising on websites, SEO, email marketing, social media presence, and content marketing to create the “right” client image for their market.  The most forward thinking professionals are employing disciplines from a new social science methodology called Group Advocacy to drive measurable social media activity – and consistently improve results from client marketing budgets.
Until recently, there were two types of social media based “advocacy” disciplines – both designed for large businesses:
  • Customer Advocacy:  improves a company’s image through authentic social media engagement and customer testimonials. The discipline helps to manage company reputation and image in B2C business - especially with well-known brands, but has limited applicability in the B2B market
  • Employee Advocacy utilizes a company’s own employees, typically sales people, to help spread the company message. It helps to extend the reach of social media campaigns, but does little to address credibility.
Both approaches are big improvements over the traditional self-promotion social media strategy many companies use, but are subject to the noted limitations.  Group Advocacy is a broader approach that simultaneously addresses credibility and reach – and also has applications in disciplines beyond the realm of “large business” into SMB, politics, sports, entertainment, music – along with charitable and other causes.  The broader disciplines and learnings from these different types of groups cross pollinate within Group Advocacy - and make every group type more effective.
Group Advocacy combines 3 existing, and until now, unrelated disciplines noted below into a new social media marketing science ... continue reading

Social Media Marketing at the intersection of human nature and applied technology

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING

....at the intersection of human nature and applied technology
#SMM
Group Advocacy is a practical application of 21st century, millennial based, social media marketing principles which are evolving at the intersection of human nature and applied technology.

Social Media professionals know that the practical application of the 21st century or millennial based marketing evolution is a combination of human nature and applied technology
Human Nature:
  • Groups voluntarily gather to support companies, political causes, charities, sporting teams, etc.
  • Group members will show their support on social media by posting content from their accounts to help and show support for their company, cause, or “team”.
  • Group members will help create new or curate other supportive content they discover – both in show of support, but also to raise their own stature or position within the team....
...

Applied Technology:·
  • When any group posts on social media in concert, a viral seed is planted and grows quickly on the social media platform where the group concentrates their effort.
  • As the same link is posted again and again by individual people, it trends and rises to the top of news feeds of the group members posting and the news feeds of those to whom they are....

How Group Advocacy Works

First, a definition - What is Group Advocacy?

Group Advocacy is a form of social media marketing where a group of third party believers, fans, or advocates create, curate, schedule, and publish complimentary content and commentary in a coordinated campaignvia their social media accounts on behalf of a company, candidate, or cause. It includes all forms of Employee Advocacy, Customer Advocacy, Channel Partner Advocacy, Political Advocacy, and other groups.

How did Group Advocacy get started and what does it do?

My business partner and I started solving for solution that would automate, track, and measure referrals between members of local business networking groups. As we launched our referral management solution in our test markets in Reno, NV and Austin, TX, we found that our users also wanted to “team up” and cross promote each other on social media. We looked for something with which we could integrate our referral solution, but couldn’t find anything that fit the cross promotional and “team up” goals our users desired.

There wasn't anything built specifically for groups in the existing market solutions to curate, schedule, and publish content for Social Media Marketers. So we built it... read more

Buzz.Tools beta to conclude in December

Social Media Content Amplified for Business
First publicly available version of Buzz.Tools app in early 2017

December 7, 2016, Reno, NV

Buzz.Tools announced today that it will transition from a successful beta to their first public offering of its Social Media Amplification Platform.  The exact launch date will be announced shortly after the first of the year, but is anticipated to be sometime in very early 2017.

Buzz.Tools provides businesses and other groups a cloud solution to privately curate Interest Relevant Content (IRC), then schedule, post, and amplify the group’s IRC messaging on the members’ connected social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.  “Our beta program is progressing very well. Our users are helping to prioritize and test our initial feature set.  I can’t thank our beta group enough.” says co-founder Jeff Saling.  Jeff’s business partner and co-founder, Matthew Hellinger added “We are happy that the platform is performing well. We are learning a lot about how users interact with our technology – and which features are most important. The beta continues to be super helpful to us as we plan our public launch”

Buzz.Tools critical service differentiator is that it is designed to optimize and amplify group and team content, rather than “just” being an efficient scheduling tool for individual posters.  Buzz.Tools allows group members to exponentially amplify the effects of their social media IRC messaging effort. The platform also provides private messaging as well as lead and referral sharing between group members.  Teams can be organized by a business, cause, or any group with a shared interest or passion.  Members can belong to one or many groups and are provided insights into where and when their IRC is being distributed

Interested businesses, groups, or individuals can find out more at www.buzz.tools.  Interested parties can request beta admission (through 12/31/16) by email at beta@buzz.tools or can call +1.775.413.0030. Enterprise and white label style programs are also available.
